| Introduction | In 2005/6 I spent many happy months exploring Central America and Mexico. I returned to Nicaragua in January 2007 to work for a local NGO. The aim of this blog is to provide you with insights to my time here; my work, my journeys and facts found out on the way. I hope you enjoy it. Why Nacho? When last in Nicaragua in 2006 slow but continual mis-pronunciation of my name morphed Nigel to Nacho. At times Nacho even becomes Ignacio. Nigel, Nacho, Ignacio take your pick I am happy with and answer to all three. |
