Introduction	In Progress was founded for charitable, cultural, heritage, educational, and environmental purposes. Developing and conducting workshop designed to build self-esteem, confidence levels, and to bring to the fore front conflict resolutions, safe sex education, acceptances and education as well as to provide the tools necessary to excel in poetry, creative writing, and effective public speaking that will arm youth with the emotional ammunition needed to be a contributing force in today’s world. To give today’s youth the tools to have hope and to extend their realities beyond their immediate environment. The youth population ranges from 7 – 19 years of age. Some of the populations are those who are generally from low-income families and feel disconnected from today’s society. Some of these youth have been labeled by society as “Emotionally Disturbed and Behaviorally Delayed. Many born to mothers who were addicted to crack/cocaine and as a result they themselves were substance dependent and have accepted poverty and despair not only as their destiny, but as their way of life.
