Introduction	I am currently a Social Worker in a Law Firm that represents children in Custody, Abuse/Neglect, and Domestic Violence Cases. I have been working with children and their families since 1994. Prior to that I worked with the OMRDD and Geriatric Population...I even did an internship in a Medium Level Correctional Facility. While receiving my Bachelors Degree I completed Supervised Student Teaching. I taught Social Studies in a local High School. I have always been interested in the Law and became interested in the Social Service Field after graduating from college in 1992. Since this time I have struggled with reconciling the two fields in a manner that would best suit me. At the moment I have done so in my current position; however I plan to pursue my Juris Doctorate and my Masters in Social Work. So that I can assist more children and their families and reach my goal of founding and operating an Early Intervention Educational Program for at risk families.
Interests	I have a broad range of interests. Currently my greatest interest is ensuring the safety and preservation of families and children.
Favorite movies	The Color Purple, X, Paris is Burning, Schindler's List, Eyes on the Prize Series
Favorite music	Jazz, R&B, Rock, Hip Hop and of course anything Motown :)
