Introduction	Staying close to nature through gardening has always been a constant - growing flowers, fruit or veg for family and friends. I have toiled on many different plots both large (3 acres),and small, owned and rented. Presently I've a veg plot - a rented allotment locally. All sorts of veg and fruit grown. The therapy begins and ends with the soil, constant contact with microbes, bacteria, fungi, a myriad of creatures and a cat. Mindfulness in nature. The economics are good, as well as the quality of the flavour. Politics has also been of interest for many years. I'm particularly interested i politics that look after the green needs of the planet.
