| Introduction | I learned to sew when I was about 5 years old, on a treadle sewing machine. My mother or "Grandma" Yaeger would "treadle" for me and I would sew. I also learned to sew by hand at a early age, Mom said that I had to learn that before I could sew anything on the "electric" machine. |
