| Introduction | I'm a former Naval Flight Officer, NASA spacecraft design engineer as well as NASA education specialist with the Mars and shuttle programs, a private pilot (not much of a surprise given my Navy background), and a 1st Lieutenant in the Civil Air Patrol. I'm working on a Ph.D. in education, even though my undergraduate degree is engineering and master's degree is in astrophysics (General Relativity). Go figure. I quit my cushy high-profile NASA education job in August of 2005 and am now pursuing a writing career full time. I've never been happier! The best part of my life, however, is being married to a wonderful woman and having three really great kids (an 18-year-old boy, a 4 year-old girl, and a 1 year old girl). What more could you want? |
