| Introduction | My husband and I are fledgling bushcrafters, woodcrafters, wild foragers and semi-survivalists. We are interested in what it means to be 'English' as we seem to have lost our cultural identity in this modern Britain. We enjoy the multiculturalism and the richness it brings immensely but we also wish to explore our own ethnic roots too - in my case Danish Viking and Scottish Celt and in my husband's, French Norman and Cornish Celt. We hope to include some of the interesting wild-related things we have learned, invented, made, preserved and consumed. We are also going to include our mistakes in the interests of education and dissemination of good practice - please don't judge us too harshly, we are still learning and any comments on our rights and wrongs are appreciated ;-). |
