Introduction	As a Welshman living and working in Taiwan my work is a way for me to deal with this culture in which I am immersed. I have taken on the Chinese tradition of paper cutting, but have adapted it to my own obsessive imagery. I now carve fine silk paper with a knife in the same way as I used to draw cartoons with a nib and ink.
