| Introduction | I grew up in a close loving family. This nest of support denied me the angst that drives some writers to great literary heights, but it gave me a foundation on which to build my characters and plot conflicts. Afterall, the influence and importance of family are universal themes that help my work "speak" to readers of all ages and backgrounds. I am a former English teacher and librarian with an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College. I am represented by Erzsi Deak of Hen and Ink Literary. |
