| Introduction | Birthed at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, and anchored to the stones of Mount Royal from then on, I apprenticed with Stanley Lewis the magnificent (and dearly departed), then went on to explore my medium of granite and marble stone for the next 23 years. |

I am a Montreal born artist, with four grown children who are artists too (singing, dancing, acting, writing, and painting). I love the web of different cultures that are entwined in the landscape of Montreal and that create a unique energy that just feeds my work. I come from a family that is 3/4 Russian Jewish and 1/4 Irish, but 100% Canadian. I love the four seasons and appreciate this amazing country that I was gifted to be born in. |
