Introduction	I was raised as a Baptist, and grew up in constant fear that the doubting questions entering my thoughts would bring on "the wrath of God" and doom me to eternal torment. I denounced the Christian religion when I was a young adult, but it wasn't until after about 20 more years of searching and reading that I came to no longer believe that any god or gods existed. I've been an outspoken atheist since 2007 and live a very happy and fulfilling life.
