| Introduction | My artwork consists of colored pencil or charcoal pencil drawings or paintings in acrylic. My favorite subjects for my artwork are often still life, animals (pets) or people, often family members. I like to work from a photo I’ve taken, using the photo to inspire me and painting from imagination. I have exhibited my artwork in Person County shows since 2002 and have also shown my work in the Durham Art Guild member show, the Caswell County member show and the Milton Studio Art Gallery in Milton. A resident of Person County, I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Art Guild of Person County and have served as Treasurer since 2004 and Secretary from 2000 to 2004. |
