Introduction	This BLOG- 'Military Mother's United For Peace' is dedicated to my son who has dedicated his life to military service and to all who serve in the military. We owe it to our children, who have made the selfless sacrifice to serve, to hold our elected officials accountable for the reasons they send our children into the horror of war. The purpose of this BLOG is a CALL to ACTION, a place to be heard, and connect with others who have children in 'harms way' or who have been killed in the line of duty. Please feel free to post your thoughts, poetry, and ideas about how we can be a voice to end this insanity called 'war'. I have only one rule and one request: Keep it Civil and take ACTION...start a discussion group, demonstrate, write your elected officials. We MUST end WAR.
Interests	All types of biking - road, mountain, and tandem. Love to hike and run. Learning to cross-country ski. Love dogs. Love to cook. Love being a wife, mother, and a grandmother.
Favorite movies	Once, Out of Africa, Must Love Dogs, Ghandi, My Best Friend's Wedding, - mostly chic flicks
