Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
My grandaddy, Carey Stinson, used to sit under a bog oak tree and peel an apple in one smooth sweep. He taught me to begin at the top and rotate the apple clockwise while making 1/2 inch, thin cutting motions. The curls were long and so thrilled me. I still do it that way,50 years later!
