| Introduction | Okay, so I lied about the photo... I don’t like talking about myself because there are too many unrealized aspects of my life. I had my first baby at 20 and my second at 25 and spent the next 20 years raising them, going to work, and trying to find the time and energy for everything else. I am eligible to retire in 3 years although like most Americans, I will probably have to work until I’m 75. I do look forward to changing gears however, and trying something different, something that I actually want to do; Hence this course. My biography is purposefully short. I am hoping that my best, most professionally fulfilling years are ahead of me. |
| Interests | I love dogs (German Shepherds in particular), dog training, and dog parks. I appreciate good books and good movies. Road trips are my favorite kind of vacation as is the occasional vacation alone. I have over 20 rose bushes of all colors and varieties and love to cultivate them. |
| Favorite movies | I am a movie fanatic so I don't know where to begin. No science fiction, bloody epics, or religious movies. I like independent and foreign films but some are too "out there" for my taste. |
| Favorite music | A little bit of many kinds. My husband of 25 years is a musician so I'm pretty saturated with all things music. Peace and quiet is a beautiful thing. |
| Favorite books | Gone with the Wind, Jane Eyre, Rebecca, Wuthering Heights, Madame Bovary, classics. I also love historical accounts, biographies, and autobiographies. |
