Introduction	I knew at a very early age that I wanted to be a dad, but my biggest passion in life was playing football and I couldn’t have anything that interfered with my semi-pro “career” so I avoided getting married and having kids until I reached some of my bigger goals and the injuries started to pile up. It happens so quickly. The worst part is that as the injuries start to pile up they prevent you from working out and this cyclical effect leads to your demise. Luckily for me I have plenty of other passions to fill my time and my need to always be learning and doing something tangible. Being a dad is just as cool as I had imagined it, and even harder than I thought. Coming home every day to two girls smiling ear to ear while your huge chocolate lab desperately vies for your attention has me feeling like Fred Flintstone while my “Wilma” waits patiently for her kiss as everyone else gets theirs. It’s really as good as it gets in my opinion.
