Introduction	Gordon S. Jackson is a South African born educator and writer. After working as a reporter and editor for a news magazine in Johannesburg he earned his doctorate at Indiana University in 1983. He then taught journalism at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, for 32 years, retiring in 2015. Since then he has written three satirical novels and six other books. The most recent is “Sit, Stand, Walk, Run: A Vocabulary for the Christian’s Journey,” just released in June. It is his third book with Mount Zion Ridge Publishing. He is married to another South African, Sue. They have two adult children and identical twin granddaughters.
