Introduction	I work as part of the Labor Market Information System. I am intending to offer a unique prospective to a topic that is always current: America's jobs. For more than a decade I have gleaned the gigabytes of America's Labor market data as an analyst in the American Labor Market Information system, a network of state offices sponsored by the Employment and Training Administration of the Department of Labor. Work includes market forecasting and materials for a client base of independent trainers, schools, businesses, guidance counselors. I am an economist and former professor with work on many labor projects including work for the Int’l Brotherhood of Teamsters, Howard University regional skills training partnership, the Basic Pilot and Citizen Attestation Verification Pilot studies for foreign employment eligibility confirmation under the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act, collaboration with the Director's Office, Federal Reserve Bank's Index of Industrial Production to develop a regional service production index.
