| Introduction | I write in English and Kannada. Have written two novels, and a few critical articles, in English. In Kannada I have published only Literary criticism so far, and am working on a book on poetry, (on poetic communication, diction, imagery, symbolism, metre and so on) tentatively called 'Kavithe, Kaavya..' Want to translate the English poems of Arun Kolatkar into Kannada and Kannada fiction into English. But can't get over my life-long love for teaching; so have conducted a few creative writing workshops and poetry appreciation programs. |
