| Introduction | Yes, I do live in Texas, but I have traveled, I read, and I try to keep up with the rest of the world. My wife and I have four young grandsons and I tend take the long view of things. I was self-employed as a craftsman for many years and now I read, travel when I can, paddle a kayak when the rivers are up and do a little research and writing. I collect, old postcards, hand-made toys, pieces of rusty wire, and other small treasures including quotes from people who are smarter than I am: "He wrapped himself in quotations - as a beggar would enfold himself in the purple of Emperors." -- Kipling |
