| Introduction | I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison Western campus in 2006 and accepted a job on a Neuro/peds/trauma floor which I still remain working on today. I also work on a Woman's Health maternity floor casually as I love working with women and babies. There is nothing more amazing than witnessing the birth of a child and the families reactions:) As for traveling, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! In college I had the opportunity to spend 3 months in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji, and last year this time I spent 3 weeks backpacking across 4 European countries with my little sister. I've been to many of the US states and it's my personal goal to see them all! I cannot wait for this trip to Washington, D.C. to experience yet another part of our world, which compared to the other places I have been, is practically in my own back yard! This trip will be as much of a learning experience for me as it will be for the women we help and I feel privileged to be part of such a wonderful program. |
