About me

Gender Female
Introduction I was born in P.E.I, Canada but have lived almost my entire life in St. John's, Newfoundland. I am currently a full time student at The Fisheries & Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland taking Marine Environmental Technology. I am also working on my Bachelor of Technology Degree at the same time. I am actively involved in both Girl Guides Canada and Scouts Canada. Besides school I am in the Naval Reserves where I hold the rank of Leading Seaman as a Marine Enginerring Systems Operator (MESO). I am looking forward to re-visiting the Arctic as I was there three years prior with the Navy. However, I feel that this experience will give me a much greater appreciation for the Arctic's environmental sensitivity, beauty, and wonder. I would like to thank the Marine Institute and Students On Ice program for such a wonderful opportunity. I also need to mentio the wonder tech support I had with making the site from my friend Chad Lawlor.
