| Introduction | My husband and I are were both raised Lutheran. I became a Lutheran school teacher. He became an engineer. We were set up by a set of mutual friends and quickly fell in love. After realizing we didn't have as much control over conceiving a child as we previously believed, we started IF treatments in Dec. of 2009 and learned I have endometriosis. We have tried both Eastern and Western medicine in our quest for parenthood. Currently, my lovely husband is supporting me while I take some time off from teaching to pursue IF treatments. We have named our future children...there have been 2 special names that have made it to the cutting room floor. Therefore, for anonymity's sake, I thought using them here would keep their spirit alive. I wanted a daughter named Aranea (the end sounds are ai-ah) from Australia...he didn't like it, and he wanted Kal for our son(he liked the idea of putting "Kool" in front of it...I said no.) In Blog World, these will be our pseudonyms. |
