Introduction	I am an environmentalist, artist, educator and resident of west Toronto. I am very concerned about the pollution from diesel emissions from the proposed 300+ trains a day in the rail corridor near my house. I find it contradictory that the provincial government, under the guise of Metrolinx, is pushing through a massive rail expansion using diesel trains, when the City of Toronto, including Mayor Ford, is promoting electric trains and greening initiatives. As one of the 300,000 people living close to this rail corridor, I will have to live with the increased pollution and noise for the rest of my life. Please feel free to contact me through this blog to express your concerns and propose alternate solutions to this diesel rail expansion, and Metrolinx's infrastructure strategies.
