Actually I am basically a conservative Christian guy, but I do enjoy doing all the things I stated, I love lamp,
Interests Anything involving literature, history, the South in general, fishing, dipping, drinking by the lake, hanging out with my friends, College football (Texas Tech primarily, and Ole Miss), college basketball, Dallas Mavericks, basketball in general, music - generally country blues rock dirty south Houston rap etc., life in general, politics, finding a life, Old Southern homes with porches, Bourbon, the ocean...
Favorite Movies Bagger Vance, Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, Places in the heart, Predator, Notebook, Texas chainsaw massacre, Gettysburg, Frailty, Hoosiers, You shouldn't care or approve of any of these
Favorite Music Country, but not the cheesy pop-sounding crap that the radio likes sometimes, Also some rock, blues, folk and alternative, Cross Canadian, Blues Traveler, Ray LaMontagne, Norah Jones, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Cory Morrow, Pat Green (older stuff), Kevin Fowler, Also many rock and alternative bands too many to list, Dirty South Rap, Lil Flip, Boss Hogg Outlawz, Chamillionaire, Slim Thug, UGK, Many many more, etc. I like most music except the vile pop-crap like Spears Pussycat things and R&B
Favorite Books Southern authors, Welty, Porter, O'Connor etc., E.A. Poe is my literary hero, If I could combine the easy descriptions and banter of Welty, the aire of place and mystery surrounding Faulkner, and the unbridled enthusiasm genious, and shameful but satisfying perversion of Poe, I'd be a happy happy man
