| Introduction | Linda R. Silverman, a former director of the contemporary art department of Sotheby's New York, is now an art advisor in impressionist, modern and contemporary art. Linda R. Silverman Fine Art offers advisory services to private clients to purchase works of art at auctions, art fairs and galleries worldwide. She was the liaison between Mayor Bloomberg, the Parks Commissioner, the Central Park Conservancy, and Christo and Jeanne-Claude for The Gates, (Project for Central Park), New York. The $10 million gift from Carl Icahn, which Silverman organized with Adrian Benape resulted in the Icahn Stadium in Randall’s Island. Currently Linda R.
