Joan and I travel to learn, to be entertained, and to relax... learning different cultures, historical perspectives, entering and being touched by the lives of other people, growing... enjoying or being entertained by natural and man-made sites, eating and drinking regional food and wine, shopping, listening to music, watching performance art, viewing painting and sculpture, making new friends, smiling and laughing... relaxing, renewing, restoring, and reflecting. What makes it possible? Dreaming, planning, some lucky breaks, but most importantly doing it all with your best friend.
