| Introduction | RDS Wheeler is a public servant that desires to inspire the best in individuals to achieve their highest human potential. A two-time graduate of Indiana University, RDS Wheeler holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and African American Studies with a minor in Public Policy and a Masters in Public Affairs (MPA) from this institution. After graduate school, RDS worked for one year in his hometown of Indianapolis at a community center and a not-for-profit consulting firm. In 2001, RDS shifted from serving his community to serving his country. RDS enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Logistics Specialists. In 2003, RDS was deployed in support of Operation Enduring/Iraqi Freedom where he spent 9 months in a combat zone. In 2005, RDS left the military and returned to serving his community. He is now a grants officer for CICF and specializes in helping to make charitable investments. In 2008, RDS earned his Masters in Business Administration (MBA), a degree in which he started while in the US Military. Today, RDS uses his skills to empower people and he hopes to use this blog to EmpowerU. |
