| Introduction | I was born in Rockville, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. I grew up in Southern California, mostly in Glendora (suburban LA County), then went on to the San Francisco Bay Area where I attend U.C. Berkeley (currently on study abroad for a year in Sweden). I am an incredibly proud Iranian-American and I will be saying "GO BEARS!" all my life. After college, I'll be attending law school. |

For your birthday, your aunt gave you a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster. Please write her a thank-you note:
Dear Aunt, Thank you for the maple syrup dispenser. I was really beginning to get frustrated with the poor quality of maple syrup packaging in most grocery stores and I had begun to lose hope. I have found that the rooster is a welcome touch. My morning syrup wakes up just like the crow of a rooster, except more quietly and sweeter. Your creativity is evidently boundless. Love, Pegah
