IndustryStudent
LocationBerkeley/Riverside, California, United States
IntroductionI was born in Rockville, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. I was four when we left Maryland but I love the East Coast that I've come to know and of course the California that I've grown to love. I grew up in Southern California, mostly in Glendora (suburban LA County), then went on to the San Francisco Bay Area where I attend U.C. Berkeley (currently on study abroad for a year in Sweden). I am an incredibly proud Iranian-American and I will be saying "GO BEARS!" all my life. After college, I'll be attending law school.
InterestsGoing for a stroll or long walk, olives, earl grey and Persian tea, giving directions, baking, candles, incense, wine, being near a large body of water, airports, singing, small talk with kind strangers, taking pictures, driving, getting coffee, traveling, my parents and brother, conversations with good people.
Favorite moviesI can't get enough of Sleepless in Seattle. Father of the Bride I & II Love Actually New York, I Love You WOODY ALLEN. Frat Pack films Wes Anderson
Favorite musicAnthony Dominick Benedetto
Favorite booksI Am America and So Can You by Stephen T. Colbert, Know Your Power by Nancy Pelosi, Homegrown Democrat by Garrison Keillor, The Rabbi by Noah Gordon, Everything I read for Classics... that's not true.

For your birthday, your aunt gave you a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster. Please write her a thank-you note:

Dear Aunt, Thank you for the maple syrup dispenser. I was really beginning to get frustrated with the poor quality of maple syrup packaging in most grocery stores and I had begun to lose hope. I have found that the rooster is a welcome touch. My morning syrup wakes up just like the crow of a rooster, except more quietly and sweeter. Your creativity is evidently boundless. Love, Pegah
