| Introduction | I am a pastor of a great congregation in a great city.
Jesus Christ is my Lord. My calling is to be a minister of Word and Sacrament. I am also a student of human behavior, culture and institutions. I firmly believe that the interplay between faith and life is at the heart of discipleship. I also believe that every age and culture has it's own outlook. We have our own temptations and blind spots. Looking to the past, to other cultures, and to the margins often allows us to see clearly our own assumptions. |
