Introduction	Artist born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Gained fundamental study in watercolour painting at the ages of 10 from Tan Sik Yew who graduated from Singapore Nanyang Academic of Fine Arts. Since then, passion for art has grown stronger. Exposure to various sketching skills and techniques while pursuing Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning in University of Technology Malaysia has added credit to her current art career. The first appearance in Malaysian art scene was made in 2004 by joining Malaysia Artistes Association. The same year, met mentor Mr. Tan Tong, an established artist graduated from Ecole Nationale Superieure dex Beaux-arts Paris. Further study on art history and oil painting has been explored. From 2009 to March 2012, based in Fukuoka Japan to continue her journey of creating better art pieces. Currently, Shireen is the founding member and secretary of Malaysia Art Society, member of Singapore Watercolour Society, Malaysian Watercolour Society, Malaysian Artists Society and life member of National Art Gallery. She has been actively participated in numerous art exhibitions in Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, China, Japan, Portugal and other countries as well.
