| Introduction | Hi there! I am Melaine, wife of 10 years, mother of 2 kids, only daughter to a widowed mother, cook at my kids school and expert life juggler. I have an amazing husband who is currently working about 70 hours per week, while working on a mechanical engineering degree and trying to be a father at the same time. All of this to make sure we are all taken care of. I work at my kids' school in the school kitchen doing breakfast 5 days a week and lunch 1-2 days a week. I truely love my job, plus I get to see my kids everyday! Ryan is 7, and active in scouts and sports, which keeps me busy too. Delayna is 5, going on 13. Need I say more? Now that you know a little piece of my history, come along with me as I create this blog and learn more about the "madness" I call life! |
| Interests | I have a wide variety of interests ranging from cooking and cleaning (yes, cleaning) to being outdoors and Jeeping with the family. I like to read (when I have time), help others, organize things, workout, scrapbook, camp, fish, and jeep. Although this is not a complete list, you can see I have a wide variety of interests that keep me busy! |
| Favorite movies | Independence Day, The Great Outdoors, Father-of-the-Bride, Grease I & II, Varsity Blues, Steel Magnolias. Again, not a complete list, but some of my favorites that I can't help watch when they are on TV. |
| Favorite music | I like pretty much anything except for hard-core rap and scream-o. Most people that know me, tell me I should be on the Singing Bee. |
| Favorite books | I am really into a murder mystery series by Sue Grafton. The only problem there is, she is on U and they only come out every 18 months or so! |

wouldn't swim when I had clothes on, so why would I go if I came to school naked?
