| Introduction | I have been working at The Times Leader in Wilkes-Barre, PA. for over thirty years, most of those years I have been the chief photographer. Before that I was a police officer in Dallas Township, PA. Starting this January 2008 I added a new feature the this page called Moments. While new to this page it has been running in the Times Leader for about 6 years. Moments appears in the Times Leader every Sunday on the OP-ED page. It is a photograph of my choosing and words written by Jerry Lynott. (a very talented writer for the Times Leader) The purpose is nothing more than do something a little different than you usually see in a newspaper. A chance to be a little creative. A slice of everyday life, places or scenes that usually go unnoticed. And words more often than not very poetic. So while the name of this page is JUST PICTURES it is my intention to publish Moments each week here. |
