| Introduction | I've been in education since 1982. Started out in a small town north of Manhattan known as Washington, Ks. After about 10 years I moved my family to Holton, Ks. where we have lived for over 17 years. After 8 years working at Holton High School as a Social Studies teacher I moved behind the desk of the principalship. Over the next eight years I also added district curriculum director, staff development director and even 6 months as the superintendent. In 2009 I took the principalship at Shawnee Heights High School located on the east side of Topeka. After five years as principal of Shawnee Heights I announced my retirement but continued as the building principal for an additional year. Then I finally had the opportunity to return to the classroom right there at Shawnee Heights in 2015. I now teacher U.S. History, A.P. Government and World Geography |
