| Introduction | I began my writing career at a small Midwest newspaper, where I ensured the TV listings were correct by cross referencing them with the "TV Guide." I was called on the carpet for consistently missing the time changes for "Guiding Light" and "As the World Turns." As a young woman, I wrote entertainments for banquets, including a take off on the old TV show "Laugh-in." Keeping a small red tricycle around is very handy. Radio commercials and TV continuity saw me through some college years. Since that time, I have written a string of speeches, profiles, marketing pieces, white papers, and policy. Currently I'm writing a book replete with letters, maps, and a kettle filled with gold coins. Follow the rainbow; you may find it. |
