About me

Location Kapolei, Hawaii, United States
Introduction I was born in Oregon and grew up in central California in a place called Clovis. I moved to Hawaii when I was a senior in High School and have been in love ever since. I remember the day I first came to Hawaii. it was the day I moved here with my mother and younger brother. I was sitting on the plane looking out the window and as soon as I saw the island (Maui) I looked over to my mother and said, "Mom, I am home!" It was the first time I really felt like I was home. I knew that Hawaii would be a part of me forever. The beauty, the cultures, the aloha, it is the only way I can describe myself. It defines me as a person. My love for the islands can not be explained. My heart will forever be in Hawaii, in the waters, in the sound of the zebra doves outside my window every morning, in the most beautiful hula, in the smell of the pikake lei. To this day, I have never felt more at home than I do in Hawaii.
Interests Dancing, scuba diving, fishing, camping, windsurfing, education (learning), playing cards, kayaking, traveling.
Favorite Movies I am a person who loves to laugh, so comedy is my first choice when it comes to movies. I love The Jerk, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Tommy Boy, and others like those. I also love dramas when I am in the mood. Some of my favorites are Shawshank Redemption, The Notebook, and The Count of Monte Cristo.
Favorite Music I love country, but mostly older country...Steve Wariner, George Straight, Alan Jackson, The Judds, Chris Ladoux, and Keith Whitley. However, I really love music that inspires me. I love music with a beat that I can dance to and feel good listening to.
Favorite Books My book interests are different than most, I really enjoy reading informational books. I like to read something and feel like I learned something afterwards. I hated studying in school, but I love learning. I love historical books on places and people and events in history. However, I also like books like Harry Potter.

If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?

Pirates don't laugh, they grunt and say Argh. However, I think everyone needs a little humor and therefore I would just laugh anyhow. "Poop Deck...ARGH!"
