| Introduction | I'm a 30-something year-old woman working as a nurse aide with seniors and developmentally disabled individuals. In my free time enjoy reading, gardening, movies, creative writing, swimming, & volunteering in the community. I consider myself a political moderate. While I consider myself pro-life, my feelings surrounding the abortion issue are complex and my reasons for opposing abortion are based on social, ethical, and medical evidence. To me, being pro-life isn’t just about opposing abortion, but also about reducing the need for abortion through sex education & changing society to be more supportive of pregnant & parenting women. Also, I'm passionate about advocating education and awareness to better educate the general public and to support those facing the challenges of mental illness or a developmental disability. |
