| Introduction | My name is Dr. Steve Wainwright. I am a retired Senior Lecturer in Biological Sciences and Tutor in Astronomy at Swansea University, and have been an astronomer since 1967. I founded the international imaging group QCUIAG in 1998. My interest is in getting as much as possible out of as little as possible. I am a member of the Swansea and Barry Astronomical Societies. I am also a member of the Society for Popular Astronomy and the BAA and am a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. I also write astronomical articles, short stories, poetry and make a little art. .I taught astronomy at the University of Swansea in DACE evening classes for several years, but am now, largely retired. I give lectures to astronomical societies. |
