| Introduction | I live in Toronto - and I've had it! I've had it with our mayor and his left wing followers. I've had it with potholes, Toronto's beauracratic waste management system, cyclists that do not pay to use our roads, taxes on my car that non-city dwellers can avoid, crime rates that escalate unabated without any hope of change, and civil servants who are overpaid and underwork. I've had it with a federal government that ignores this city, and a city where the quality of life declines daily. I've had it with banks that screw me, and a tax system that penalizes initiative. I've had it with teachers that demand more and give less. I've had it with civil servant pension plans that I am obligated to top up while my RRSP and private pension plan have deteriorated by upwards of 45% over the past year. I've had it with thousands who demonstrate for Sri Lanka and the Gaza Strip - but wouldn't walk out the door to support Canadian Unity. I've had it with Quebec and the whining of the separatists. I've had it with Canadians who obviously just don't give a damn. I created this blog to see if anyone else has had it too. Let me know...... |
