Introduction A young Black college kid taking a break from classes so I can find out who I am. I research religion for fun (among other hobbies such as writing and social justice). I find it incredibly interesting. After practicing and studying Buddhism for over a year, I've begun studying Sikhism. It's a beautiful faith and I believe I've finally found my true path.
Interests Sikhism, studying religion, mindfulness, meditation, mantra, yoga, tai chi, writing, social justice (feminism, race relations, rape/sexual assault, and the various forms of social inequalities), anarchism, music, astronomy and nature, philosophy, sports, spirituality, quantum physics, consciousness, learning as much as i can and kickin it with family and friends.
Favorite Movies Anything on Sikhism; besides lots of mainstream films, I'm really into documentaries: Riddles in Stone: Secret Architecture of Washington DC, What The Bleep Do We Know?, Humanity Ascending, Sicko, Earthlings, Zeitgeist, Esoteric Agenda, Loose Change, Weather Underground, Fahrenheit 911, Anarchism in America, The Life of the Buddha, For The Bible Tells Me So, Africans in America: The Terrible Transformation, Race: The Power of an Illusion, Black Panther Newsreels, and lots more. I love The Matrix Trilogy, The X-Men Trilogy and Crash. And there are obviously films I left out.
Favorite Music Sikh music, Gurbani, Real hip hop, alternative rock, punk rock, some classic rock, some pop, folk, traditional and smooth jazz, classical, a lot of R&B, some bluegrass, a lot of traditional Celtic, ambient, easy listening and generally music that has good lyrics

When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?

Take a nap and lay on the side of the corresponding ear. It'll come out while you're sleeping. Either that or use a finger to open the ear canal and tilt your head. But don't stick your finger too far in!
