Aamidor is a former long-term feature writer at the St. Louis Globe-Democrat, The (Champaign-Urbana) News-Gazette and The Indianapolis Star. He is the author, co-author or Editor of six books, including "At the Crossroads: Middle America and the Battle to Save the Car Industry" (ECW Press, 2010), and "Media Smackdown: Deconstructing the News and the Future of Journalism" (Peter Lang USA, 2013). Aamidor has had 10 short stories published in literary magazines in 2012 and 2013 and/or accepted for publication in 2014, most notably in in Amoskeag: The Journal of Southern New Hampshire University (twice); Chicago Quarterly Review; The Gettysburg Review (twice); The Worcester Review; and The Arkansas Review.
