IntroductionIn the late 1960s I was in the submarine force, my boat operating with the USS Scorpion (it is now believed she was sunk by the Russians, anyway she never made it back from the Med, while we did). After getting off active duty, I became an active member of a Sabbatarian Church of God. 25 years later, as the Worldwide Church of God came into "what they thought" was an accurate new covenant understanding that Days of Worship are an optional choice for believers (misinterpreting Romans 14), and being a bit confused by all the changes, I left WCG and started attending a local Calvary Chapel, as well as a nearby Messianic Jewish congregation. I am now attending a small, friendly Sabbatarian house-church. Fueled by my insatiable appetite to understand the entire body of Christ, and help nourish it and help bring a degree of unity to it, I started UNITYINCHRIST.COM.
InterestsSailing small sailboats, skin diving, walking, hiking. I am an avid, insatiable history buff, I like all sciences, but currently am focusing on astronomy.
Favorite moviesMost action adventures movies, 80's classics like the Breakfast Club, Hackers, the Core, Day After Tomorrow, Red October and most Tom Clancy movies, true history movies, or ones that show a lot of true history (i.e. Firebase Gloria, Band of Brothers, Memphis Belle) as well as all history documentaries.
Favorite musicI'm a lover all all music (except for 99.999 percent of the Rap). I realize that God has given the musical gift to a certain percentage of mankind (which the god of this world has perverted). I admire them and their talent for what it is, knowing that Jesus will clean up their act after he comes back.
Favorite booksScience books, all history books, action adventure books (especially about submarines). I am a remedial reader, so I do have to pick and choose wisely--so many books, so little time!
