| Introduction | Growing up as the son of a captain and later becoming a captain myself, I have spent a large portion of my life on the water. After attending college in Boston, I had been looking for a way to make a career around the water. I found that opportunity in the Freedom Boat Club. My father and I opened the Newburyport location of FBC in September of 2006. After the success of the Newburyport club in 2007 , we decided to open our second location in Portsmouth, NH in the spring of 2008. Both locations have had great success and I am looking forward to being able to spread the concept and provide local boating enthusiasts with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to boat ownership. |
