| Introduction | I have had an interest in railways since trainspotting days of my childhood in the 1950s. This was rekindled during the 1970s, with a particular penchant for things Great Western. I grew up in South Devon and wanted to model the locality and the railway in context. Hence my choice of N-gauge and the local Totnes area. My Totnes and Ashburton layouts have been through various transformations and there is still work in progress. Both layouts are available for exhibition outings. My other interests include visits to family and watercolour painting. |
