Introduction	I live in Houston with my sweet husband and smallish fluffy dog. As an adult, I've raised two daughters and enjoyed a successful career in marketing communications as a consultant and copywriter. Alas, my daughters don't need me to mother them anymore and it seems some think I'm over the hill and no longer beneficial in my field. HA! Fortunately, I still have lots of creative thoughts and ideas, so I've established a second career as a craftsperson who sews purses, totes, aprons, pillows, t-shirt quilts, etc. from antique, vintage and reclaimed fabrics and trims. I also enjoy upcycling old tin canisters into jewelry. And since I became a first-time grandmother in August 2014, I enjoy making baby blankets, quilts, burp cloths, etc. I started this blog to encourage myself to create at least one item every day, whether it's something sewn, upcycled or marketing related. Why? Because I AM RELEVANT!
