| Introduction | Hi everyone. I'm Arnold Dimas. I am a third year at UCLA. In these blogs you have been able to follow me on some of my past high school summers, as I participated in the Techniques in DNA-Based Biotechnology program at Brown University (2014) & Medicine, Health, and Society program at Vanderbilt University (2015) through my school district's Ivy League Connection scholarship program. During my senior year of high school, I was awarded the Gates Millennium Scholarship. With this award, it has made it possible for me to attend my dream school, the University of California, Los Angeles, where I am currently pursuing my degree in Anthropology with a minor in Global Health. Throughout my college years and beyond, I aspire to improve and bring positive light and change to my Richmond community and other communities alike through a career in public health. |
