I've been an owner and operator of my own food business since 2009 so i know from experience the challenges one can have running a food business - whether a restaurant/cafe, bakery, or a simple home-based catering service - I've been there. You could say I've done the time and paid my dues. I faced challenges I thought were insurmountable. I lost opportunities, lost a lot of money, made mistakes, failed and tried again. There were days when i felt like giving up, broke and discouraged but my passion and love for the job kept me hanging in there. Fortunately for me help came in the form of mentors who helped me find my niche and make a success of it. Now i run a strong stable business that is constantly growing.
