| Introduction | I'm a thirty-something mother of a beautiful little boy who was diagnosed with congenital glaucoma at five and half months old. To date he has had one operation, a 360 degree trabeculotomy in both eyes. So rare is congenital glaucoma (and so new is the 360 degree trabeculotomy) that we've struggled to find as many resources as we'd like online, be they support groups, success stories or just general information. My husband and I hope that by starting this blog, it will help other parents/carers/etc who may be in a similar situation and hopefully spread awareness of congenital glaucoma symptoms and treatments in general. |
