| Introduction | Alison Madden is a British citizen. She lives in Chicago with her husband and two children. She is the co-author of Fred & Fiona Flea and the Crown Jewels Caper. This new series of adventure books teaches geography, history, and world cultures via a good old-fashioned adventure story! Fred & Fiona Flea will follow, roughly, Alison's route around the world when she was 22 years of age! Co-author Joan Bunte is school teacher in Indianapolis, where she lives with her daughter Annie. Both Joan and Annie are artists, and love literature and fine art. Joan has read many hundreds of books to her students over the years, and understands what it takes to both entertain and educate young readers. |
