| Introduction | I've been appraising residential real estate in New Hampshire and Massachusetts since 1986. I've appraised thousands of houses, condos, multi's, lots, acres, you name it. I started my real estate career in sales in MA but did horribly. Granted, interest rates in the early 1980's were in the teens and not many people were buying houses. Driving strangers around and making small talk is not my forte. But I loved doing Comparative Market Analyses for homeowners. I started my appraising career in the big city of Worcester, MA, moved to Concord, NH in 1992 and to Grantham, NH in 1999. And here I have stayed and prospered. I've been married for 26+ years to Mike Ryan, master fly fisherman, chef, and all-around great guy. We have a wonderful 20 yr. old son, Matt, who is a college student majoring in business and snowboarding in Utah. He competes in slopestyle contests for his college team. It's a tough life but someone has to do it! Bridget and Guy, the dogs, are our constant companions.. We are fortunately to live in a beautiful area of New Hampshire, near lakes, ski areas, and mountains as well as Dartmouth College & Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. |
